National Geographic Photographer William Albert Allard

Harrisburg Area Community College will host National Geographic Photographer William Albert Allard Monday Nov. 17, 2014, at 7:30 p.m.

From the HACC website – “Join us at the Rose Lehrman Arts Center on the Harrisburg Campus to hear
about the escapades of this renowned photographer.”

Interested participants must RSVP for this event.

Allard’s work spans 50 years and is credited with changing the way National Geographic presented images. His images have a quiet subtlety to them that makes them both easy and compelling to view. His work can be seen at his website. Photographers interested in “street photography” and documentation will find his vision particularly compelling.
